A Burst of New Ideas

Posted by Atsumori. Category:

All around me today there's been a burst of new ideas, tools, strategies, and events--so many more than I can grasp at one seating. These moments like exclamation points brighten the sky making the drudgery of old time learning seem like a far away memory.

The key continues to be the act of protecting the tried-and-true gems of the past and embracing the wonderful new invention of the future. What will we keep; what will we leave behind; and what new innovations will we adopt?

As we step forward, we must first protect all that is good and beautiful about our Earth and our humanity--the stories, natural places, the joy of childhood, and life's many treasured moments. Then we must throw out the stand-in-your-way attitudes, tools, structures, and methods that hinder the best of what we can be, and the best of what we can promote. After that, like treasure hunters, we need to seek out the new inventions that are life enhancing, inclusive, and promising--the inventions that make life better for all.

In your macrosphere or microsphere, take the time to think about what you will protect, delete, and adopt as the world of education continues to evolve with so much promise for positive change and growth.
